Elastic Path Continues To Add Industry Leaders to Executive Team as Company Propels Composable Commerce Movement

Building on recent CEO and engineering leadership hires, former Acquia executive Bryan House joins to lead Product and former commercetools executive Brad Habansky joins to lead Sales

Boston, Mass. Dec 16, 2020 Elastic Path, the leading headless commerce provider for digitally-driven brands, today announced Bryan House has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Product leading UX and product management; Brad Habansky has joined as Senior Vice President of Sales leading account management, pre-sales, and customer success.

House and Habansky bring exceptional industry experience to the company and build on the recent appointment of Jamus Driscoll as CEO and Riccardo La Rosa as Senior Vice President, Engineering and Operations. The company is poised for tremendous growth in 2021 as the additional senior leaders join at a pivotal time in the market. Gartner Research predicts, "by 2023, organizations that have adopted a Composable Commerce approach will outpace competition by 80% in the speed of new feature implementation." Elastic Path spearheaded the Composable Commerce movement and recently launched the Composable Commerce Hub, which provides the first and only open exchange of business solutions powered by an ecosystem of leading digital commerce providers, empowering every brand to quickly and easily launch differentiated eCommerce experiences.

House joins the company from Neural Magic where he was the Chief Commercial Officer. Additionally, he was a founding team member at Acquia where he held numerous executive roles. “My experience and passion is helping to build high growth companies, I could not be more excited to join the team at Elastic Path,” said House. "Composable Commerce gives brands infinite potential to accelerate their digital initiatives. I’m eager to empower digital teams to build and deploy headless commerce-powered solutions and realize the full potential of Composable Commerce.”

Habansky has over a decade of experience in eCommerce and most recently led the North American field teams at Commercetools as their Vice President of Sales. “I have seen the impact Elastic Path is having with their customers and on the market, and I am proud to join the team” said Habansky. “Overcoming the complexity and risk involved with delivering differentiated eCommerce experiences is a major challenge for brands today, and Elastic Path has the unique ability to provide the full solution required – combining the control of a DIY solution, the simplicity of traditional SaaS commerce platforms, and Enterprise scale, so that every brand can unlock the benefits of Composable Commerce.”

“We’re in a phase of rapid growth, as a company and as an industry, driven by brands with ambitious digital commerce growth strategies,” said Jamus Driscoll, CEO at Elastic Path. “Bryan and Brad have the experience and expertise to have an immediate impact on scaling our business. With them on board, I am confident we’ll see an accelerated adoption of Composable Commerce in the industry.”
