Vancouver, Canada—April 25, 2018 – Elastic Path Software Inc, provider of the world’s leading headless commerce platform for enterprises, today announced that Darin Archer has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for leading the company’s marketing and product marketing teams.
A digital commerce luminary, Archer joins Elastic Path from IBM, where he was Director of Strategy and Offering Management for WebSphere Commerce. Archer will lead Elastic Path’s market strategy to help more enterprises seamlessly bring commerce directly into any interaction. “Elastic Path delivers the future of commerce today, by enabling companies to connect with their customers and transact well beyond the web shop era or standard web store,” Archer said. “As someone who is passionate about digital commerce, I’m excited to be part of the company moving the entire industry forward.”
“A technology maverick, Darin was the original champion of experience-driven commerce who challenged the entire industry to reimagine online experiences with content and commerce,” said Harry Chemko, CEO, Elastic Path Software. “We’re thrilled to welcome Darin on board as CMO. He brings an impressive depth of digital commerce industry experience, and offers a rare combination of expertise in market positioning, digital transformation and emerging technology.”
Prior to IBM, Archer held senior leadership positions at Intel and Adobe, where he drove product strategy in digital marketing, commerce and the Internet of Things. He has also led transformational programs for top brands in retail, financial services, communications and high tech as a management consultant at Accenture.
