Increase Conversion Rates by 300%+ With Our Pre-Built, No-Code Yotpo Integration

written by Seamus Roddy

Composable commerce solutions unlock extraordinary shopping experiences, but for many brands, the reality of deploying and managing the third-party integrations in a composable solution has been pockmarked by stress, costs, and delays.

Launching composable integrations doesn’t have to mean heavy code, development hours, IT tickets, or a costly implementation package. We help brands get composable experiences live fast with Elastic Path Composer’s Integrations Hub – a library of no-code, instant-on integrations.

An integration to know: our pre-built, no-code integration with eCommerce retention marketing platform Yotpo.

Learn about the importance of reviews and ratings in commerce. Then, see how Elastic Path customers are launching Yotpo’s reviews and ratings integration in minutes – skyrocketing conversion rates, getting value fast, and driving real bottom-line business results.

The importance of online reviews and ratings

The foundational use case for our integration with Yotpo is enabling reviews and ratings – a must-have commerce best practice.

The statistics extolling online reviews are legion. Some highlights:

  • 99.9% of consumers read reviews when they shop online
  • 49% of consumers trust reviews as much as friends and family members
  • 60% of consumers feel that the number of reviews a business has is critical when reviewing and deciding whether to buy a product or service
  • For lower-priced products, displaying reviews can increase conversion rates by 190%. The same report found that for higher-priced products, conversion rates increase by a stunning 380% with reviews.

The rub: consumers are conditioned to seek reviews before purchasing a product. A site that lacks product reviews doesn’t just miss out on the chance to show endorsements from real buyers and skyrocket conversion rates. It risks repelling consumers who are accustomed to reviews, and diverting business and dollars to competitors that do have reviews displayed.

Display (and collect) reviews with Elastic Path Composer’s Yotpo integration

We get the dilemma. You can’t afford to cede business to competitors by failing to have reviews, but you also can’t afford to spend time, money, and coding hours to integrate a reviews and ratings provider to your commerce solution.

Enter Elastic Path Composer’s Yotpo integration. The integration, which is pre-built and no-code:

  1. Enables reviews and ratings on your online store
  2. Syncs to your site search provider
  3. Includes a feature in review request emails are automatically sent to buyers

Here’s how the integration works.

In just a few clicks, you turn on the Yotpo integration. You can enable ratings and reviews for all of your products or choose to exclude certain catalogs. For example, if you have both B2B and B2C catalogs, you can enable reviews for B2C products but not B2B products.

Then, you choose Yotpo’s default template or, if you have particularly unique merchandise, you can insert your own product review template.

Next, you decide on reviews particulars, such as whether to display the number of reviews for each product and whether to have a standard one to five review value or opt for something different.

Quickly, and without code, you’ve given customers the opportunity to leave reviews on your site. But that doesn’t mean you’ve guaranteed a slew of five-star reviews.

In reality, dissatisfied customers leave reviews 21% more often than satisfied buyers. You don’t want your site displaying a disproportionate number of negative reviews, so you need to proactively seek positive reviews. Fortunately, Yotpo’s integration includes a feature that allows for automatic review requests.

Enable the feature and Yotpo will send automatic review request emails to buyers. This way, you get more reviews and the reviews you attract are more likely to be positive.

Wondering what that looks like in practice? Elastic Path customer Mood, an online cannabis dispensary, uses the Yotpo integration for reviews and ratings. Products on Mood’s site include both a review rating and total number of reviews.

Displaying products with high ratings and thousands of endorsements gives customers confidence in Mood’s products. The result is a high-converting, well-performing, conversion-boosting product display.

Reviews extend beyond site pages. In time, you’ll likely want your site search to incorporate product reviews, so that when products are displayed in search, review information is included. For this integration, product data is fed from Yotpo to Elastic Path to your search provider – Algolia, Advanced Commerce, Coveo, Elasticsearch or another provider. You can then update your site search to include rating filters and other dynamic, ratings-based displays.

The Yotpo integration, like many available on Integrations Hub, harnesses the power of Elastic Path and the capabilities of a leading vendor to engage consumers and deliver revenue without delay. Want to see just how easy it is to launch one of our integrations? Demo Elastic Path today.
