Elastic Path Receives High Honors in 2019 Paradigm B2B Combine

New tool provides vendor evaluation targeted directly at the needs of mid-market and enterprise B2B ecommerce technology buyers

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA --  June 25, 2019  -- Elastic Path, the leading provider of enterprise API commerce solutions, received major honors in the 2019 Paradigm B2B Combine, a new vendor ranking tool targeted directly at the interests of B2B ecommerce technology buyers. The company received six medals in the ten featured enterprise categories, including two gold, two silver and two bronze. Elastic Path was also awarded five medals in mid-market categories, including one gold, two silver and two bronze.

The Paradigm B2B Combine evaluates vendor’s solution across categories including Vision and Strategy, Ability to Execute, Product Capability, Customer Service and Support, Partner Ecosystem and Total Cost of Ownership. The evaluation criteria and all tabulation is handled directly by Andy Hoar, CEO of Paradigm B2B, based on years of experience in the space including as a vice president and principal analyst at Forrester, leader of the B2B Commerce Wave and author of the famous “Death of a (B2B) Salesman” industry forecast. Hoar compiled the 2019 Combine by conducting dozens of interviews with senior B2B VPs, IT decision-makers and ecommerce platform vendors.

These awards continue Elastic Path’s strong momentum in B2B in 2019. John Bruno, formerly a senior analyst at Forrester, joined the company earlier this year as vice president of product management to lead innovation on a paradigm change in B2B ecommerce recognizing the unique needs B2B oriented companies need that cannot be delivered by B2C ecommerce platforms. This week, the company also announced the hiring of Andrej Maihorn as vice president of industry solutions. Maihorn joins Elastic Path with 20 years of ecommerce experience with enterprise brands like Intershop, HP, Sun Microsystems and GSI Commerce (eBay Enterprise).
