Elastic Path Continues Global Expansion with Three Key Hires in Marketing, Sales and Customer Success

Commerce luminaries to drive momentum for next-generation
API commerce solutions

Vancouver, Canada (June 27, 2018) – Elastic Path, the world’s leading provider of API commerce solutions, today announced that three commerce heavyweights have joined its leadership team in key Marketing, Sales and Customer Success positions. Former SAP Hybris directors Ana Milevskaja, Carl Boeing and Tony Petrielli will spearhead Elastic Path’s global product marketing, business development and customer success as the company continues its rapid worldwide expansion.

The news comes one week after Elastic Path announced $43 million in Series B growth investment, highlighting the growing momentum for enterprise-level, next-generation commerce solutions in the market. The company has welcomed a number of new hires in key positions recently, including former IBM WebSphere Commerce executive Darin Archer as Chief Marketing Officer and former IBM Digital Commerce Development Lead Leho Nigul as Vice President of Product Development.

“The Elastic Path team is growing as more top enterprises look to switch to an API-first solution that makes it simple to create and monetize personalized customer experiences,” said Harry Chemko, CEO, Elastic Path. “With their exceptional backgrounds in commerce and digital transformation projects, as well as significant entrepreneurial and leadership experience, I’m excited to see more of the industry’s top talent gravitate to Elastic Path.”

Ana Milevskaja, Senior Director, Product Marketing and Demand Generation
A former marketing director at SAP Hybris, Ana Milevskaja excels in driving go-to-market strategy in the commerce space. She has used her expertise to guide market positioning and business development at a number of commerce players, including ModusLink and NewStore. Milevskaja will take the reins on market positioning, strategy and content marketing in her role as Senior Director, Product Marketing and Demand Generation.

Whether it’s a connected car, smart refrigerator, or retailer that allows you to order from the mirror in the fitting room, modern commerce has evolved well beyond basic online shopping and Milevskaja believes the next-generation of customer experience is here to explore and experiment with through API-first microservices approach.

“The industry is heading toward commerce experiences well beyond simple online shopping,” said Milevskaja. “It’s the perfect time for API-first solutions as companies have outgrown monolithic platforms that just deliver a webstore or a responsive mobile app. Elastic Path is the undisputed leader of API-first commerce and really well positioned to deliver this new generation of experiences.”

Boeing will use his commercial, strategic and hands-on experience to help fuel Elastic Path’s growth as Sales Director, North America.

“I wanted to help build the future of commerce, and there is no better place to do it than Elastic Path,” said Boeing. “The most exciting part of my role is the opportunity to work with companies who are inventing new ways to engage with their customers through IoT, bots, social platforms or using new approaches in existing channels. To make that happen, you need technology like Elastic Path’s, which allows you build the future right now.”

Tony Petrielli, Director, Customer Success
