VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- June 24, 2019 -- Elastic Path, the world’s leading provider of enterprise API commerce solutions, today announced that Andrej Maihorn has joined Elastic Path as vice president of industry solutions. Maihorn brings to Elastic Path more than 20 years of e-commerce experience leading customer innovation in B2B commerce.

Prior to joining Elastic Path, Maihorn was vice president of customer innovations at Intershop, a long-standing vendor in the digital commerce market and one of the first commercially available e-commerce systems.
In his most recent role, Maihorn facilitated Intershop’s gain of traction with key industry analysts, expanded its footprint globally and drove GTM strategy in North America. As a key member of the team driving Intershop’s transition to the cloud, Maihorn led the internal strategy to migrate to a SaaS go-to-market as well as the external positioning and messaging for the evolution of the product.
Throughout his career, Maihorn has successfully led global digital transformation and product initiatives essential to some of Intershop’s largest and most complex enterprise projects such as HP, Sun Microsystems and GSI Commerce (eBay Enterprise).
