Elastic Path Introduces Connected Commerce for Retail at ShopTalk

 

Demo illustrates advanced personalized transactions based on individual preferences and context

 

Las Vegas, Nevada – (March 19, 2018) – Elastic Path Software Inc., provider of the world’s most sophisticated enterprise commerce platform, will be showcasing connected commerce for retailers at the ShopTalk conference March 18 -21. Attendees can view the demo in booth #SF19 in the Store of the Future Discovery Zone.

The demo scenarios are centered around use cases a customer would experience while at a ski resort on holiday. Elastic Path Commerce monetizes customer experiences and allows companies to connect them to external data sources for improved personalization based not only on customer preference, but also on context.

At the show, Elastic Path will demonstrate how a customer who started a purchase on their phone can come into the store to complete it. Their cart is persistent, and their purchase intentions are known to the in-store sales associate. The customer’s entire purchase history is available as well. Behind the scenes, artificial intelligence is at work to create new purchase recommendations based on known preferences connected with external information including the weather.
