12/10/20 Update: DNS Action required for some custom domains

We received reports of an Unstack site outage on around 8:30pm ET on 12/10/20 for some domains. After investigation by our team, we believe there was a malicious network attack against one of our DNS domains which resulted in the suspension of the domain by the registrar (Godaddy) without any notice to Unstack.

As a result, users experiencing any site issues must immediately update their WWW DNS record with their domain registrar. To do this, you must follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Unstack account
  2. Go to your settings tab
  3. Under Domain, click "View DNS records"
  4. You will see a new "pending" WWW record.
  5. Replace the existing WWW record in your domain registrar and save it. Within minutes your website will resume service.
