With only a month to go until the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force, a survey has found that 57 per cent of retailers are not ready.

Research among 101 senior retail decision-makers commissioned by point of sale marketing specialist Ecrebo found that 41 per cent are ready for the compliance deadline, but with personalisation playing such a key role in retail - 89 per cent of retailers said they use data to personalise the customer experience - the pressure is on to comply.
