Ecommerce Software Leader Elastic Path Named Finalist for Technology Innovation Award

Recognition comes after launch of innovative Elastic Path Edition for Adobe Experience Manager

Vancouver, B.C. (April 25, 2014) — Elastic Path Software Inc., the digital commerce company, today announced that is has been named as a finalist for the BC Technology Industry Association (BCTIA) “Technology Impact Awards”, recognizing Elastic Path as a leading technology company that demonstrates excellence and innovation.

“Our customers around the world have long recognized Elastic Path for its innovative products,” said Harry Chemko, Co-Founder and CEO, Elastic Path Software. “Being recognized by the BCTIA in our home town is a great honour. B.C is not only a beautiful place to live but it’s home to some truly amazing technology talent, and Elastic Path prides itself on attracting top-tier developers that have helped us launch innovative new products.”

In March, Elastic Path launched a new version of its flagship ecommerce software for the industry-leading Adobe Experience Manager. Elastic Path Edition for Adobe Experience Manager, which debuted at Adobe Summit in Salt Lake City to great fan-fare from partners and customers, is the industry’s most powerful way to add ecommerce capability to digital experiences, bringing sophisticated, enterprise-grade merchandising, monetization, and customer account management features directly into the Adobe Experience Manager environment.

This is the second time Elastic Path has been nominated for a BCTIA award. In 2009, Elastic Path won BCTIA’s “Emerging Company of the Year”. Earlier this year, Elastic Path reported software bookings doubled year-over-year in 2013 and is on track to grow the recurring portion of its licence revenue by more than 100% in 2014, on top of more than 100% growth in 2013.

Finalists will be named at an awards ceremony on June 5. Past winners of the BCTIA awards include Layer 7, Sophos, AbeBooks (Amazon), Absolute Software, and HootSuite founder Ryan Holmes.
