Technical Overview
Designed for reliability, flexibility & efficient customization
Elastic Path understands that an ecommerce platform must both enable retailers to create the store they envision and integrate easily with existing back-end systems and processes.
To support these goals, Elastic Path Commerce is designed to enable efficient customization and integration in addition to providing powerful capabilities out-of-the-box. It is written entirely in Java using industry standard open-source components for maximum reliability, performance, flexibility and development productivity. Furthermore, it supports a broad range of deployment options (including open-source components) to leverage existing skills and minimize TCO.
