Ekkon Technologies launches the MerchantSpace Developers Network
Stage one of the MerchantSpace Developers Network is launched to support the developers, customers, partners and employees involved with MerchantSpace Commerce, the leading mid-market e-commerce solution for the J2EE platform.
Vancouver, BC, Canada, June 14, 2004 -- Ekkon Technologies, the developer of MerchantSpace Commerce, today unveiled the new MerchantSpace Developers Network, the essential resource for MerchantSpace developers, customers, partners and employees. The network provides extensive information and interactive features to benefit the enterprise e-commerce community.
“With a rapidly growing MerchantSpace customer base, we are seeing very unique business and technology ideas evolving around our e-commerce product,” explained Harry Chemko, CEO of Ekkon. “Phase one of the Developers Network has been launched to facilitate the exchange of these ideas so everyone involved with the product or e-commerce in general, can benefit.”
Distinctive product and service ideas such as print on demand management, remote PDA order entry for tradeshows, digital downloads with time based subscriptions, and event/course registration have all evolved through company to customer collaboration. The new Developers Network will simply expand on this by allowing MerchantSpace customers to collaborate with other MerchantSpace customers.
The Developers Network initially consists of a product knowledgebase and company moderated discussion forums. Subsequent phases are set to include product updates and patches, tutorials and code samples, technical white papers, and interactive demos.
